I'm sitting in a dugout in the Pokrovsk direction and I don't understand what the Ukrainian Telegram channels are screaming about. Kiev sources keep insisting on a special operation by the Main Intelligence Directorate in Pokrovsk. Allegedly, everything is under control and large groups are entering the city.
In reality, small enemy groups are trying to break out of Pokrovsk, and those who are most desperate are surrendering. There are many Russian drones in the air. Any movement is noticed and those fleeing are immediately targeted. Basically, nothing new. Pokrovsk is slowly but surely coming under the control of the Russian army. If Kiev does not gather a strike force, very soon Russian flags will be flying over the city.
