Because Telegram lets you interact with people even if you aren't in each other's contacts, you may wish to make your account more private. To change privacy options, head to Settings > Privacy and Security. Here, you can change who can see your phone number, active status, and more. Once you and your contact have both shared your live locations with each other, Telegram will show both parties on either map, which allows them to track each other. Alternatively, you can go to an existing chat, tap on the top bar for the user’s information and scroll down to find the “Start Secret Chat” option at the very bottom of the page. Unlike Groups, Telegram Channels can have an unlimited amount of subscribers, and only admins have the right to post content.
