There are times when we know our close ones studying, sleeping, or attending meetings, but we want to send some messages without disturbing them. Well, there is a feature called Silent Messages on Telegram. Basically, you can send messages and it will not make any sound or vibration even if the recipient has not turned on DND. Thatβs great, right? So to use this feature, type out your message and then tap and hold the βsendβ button. Here, choose βSend without soundβ and you are done. However, Message history is the most revealing part of your phone when it comes to private information. I hope you may have some experience with it? To save a message from elsewhere in Telegram, tap it, choose Forward, and select Saved Messages to add it instantly. You can also paste text, links, images, and anything else you'd like from other sources.
To set self-destruction timer, swipe right on the homepage, tap βNew Secret Chatβ, and add recipients. Now simply tap the clock icon and set Self-Destruct Timer to the desired time limit (from 1 second to 1 week). The clock starts ticking the moment messages are displayed on the recipientβs screen. Did you know that you can share your live location with your contacts on Telegram? This page also lets you select your preferred night mode theme. Should I use Telegram?

This is a handy feature for users who want to save disk space. To access it, go to the βSettingsβ, βData and Storageβ, and then tap βStorage Usageβ. You will find four options: keep media on your device for three days, one week, one month, or forever. Once you and your contact have both shared your live locations with each other, Telegram will show both parties on either map, which allows them to track each other. Once here, choose the proximity alert button on the top right. You can choose your distance parameters here while the app shows you a live preview of the circular distance you have chosen.
