Last year, Telegram brought a unique feature that allows you to discover Telegram users and groups based on your location. If the person on the other side has made his/her profile visible, you can see his/her name in the search. Just tap on the name to exchange contact info. The platform supports two types of channels: public and private. The former can be found in search, and anyone can join them, whereas the latter can be joined only via invitation links.
