Bot API: lets you build programs that use Telegram messages for an interface. You don’t need to have knowledge of MTProto encryption protocol. The intermediary server will handle all communication and encryption with Telegram API for you. While it’s great to set a nice profile and win praise from your friends and loved ones, there are times when you might want to hide your profile from certain people. Fortunately, Telegram offers you the needed control over the visibility of your profile. The app also lets you make location-based groups, a local group that works in a small region for co-worders, students, or neighbors. Once you have created the group, users in the vicinity will be able to view it on their device and join.

To preview a chat, simply press and hold its profile picture in your chat list. You can surely delete messages that you have sent, but did you know that Telegram has brought a new feature that lets you delete messages sent by other users too. That’s kind of weird, but this feature is for users who prioritize privacy over everything. To use this feature, just select the received message and tap on the “delete” button. Now, select “Also delete for X” and tap on “Delete”. The message will disappear from both ends without leaving any trace. To use live locations and proximity alerts, go to the contact’s chat window and tap on the ‘Attach’ icon shaped like a paperclip. Choose the location button here, and choose ‘Share my Live Location’. You will be able to send live locations for either 15 minutes, 1 hour or 8 hours. The app is really awesome for me rather than using other Messaging apps for my day-to-day works. It has all the things that meet my requirements.

RELATED: Improved Login Flow To do this, head over to Telegram’s settings by sliding over the hamburger menu from the left of the app. Here, choose ‘Settings’ and then click on ‘Chat Settings’. In this menu, you will see a number of themes and colour options to choose from. Further, you can also change the curve on message boxes and font size. You can take a new photo, upload an existing one, search the web for a new image, or remove your current photo.

Speaking of multiples, Telegram allows you to upload additional profile photos. While the latest photo is the profile picture your contacts will see, they can swipe to see the rest of your pictures. New icons are available that premium users can add to their Home Screen to better match their personality or wallpaper. Choose from a premium star, night sky, or turbo-plane.
