If you don’t want messages in your secret chats to hang around forever, Telegram lets you set self-destruct timers to permanently remove them. After a message is received, it remains in the chat for a predetermined period — you can choose times between one second and one week – before disappearing. To get going, open the Telegram app on your device. Then, head over to a chat and tap on the name of the chat at the top. If you are using Telegram on your PC, Laptop, or another device, your secret chat is only visible to your device that you started it.

Telegram Mute Option Telegram has a feature that not only lets you send messages at a particular time but also on a particular date. Just hold the “send” button in any chat and choose “Schedule Message” to automatically send content at a specified time in the future. This feature also works in your “Saved Messages” chat, turning your planned messages into reminders. Just press and hold on the message you want to change and then tap the “edit” button. From there, you can modify the message and resend it. Telegram will put an “edited” label on the message to let recipients know of the update. Another thing to keep in mind is that selling your data isn’t at the core of Telegram’s business model. You will have largely the same experience as with more popular messaging apps, with greater peace of mind. Telegram is a great all-around messenger, especially when you start using its best features and know everything it's capable of.
