Telegram Messenger Tricks for Better Communication Let’s say you have enabled the “Slow Mode” and set an interval of 1 minute. Now members in the group can only send one message per minute. A timer will show them how long they have to wait before sending the next message. The fact that Telegram allows users to create and install their custom theme makes using the service a joy. This is one of my favorite Telegram Messenger tricks. Basically, you can customize your Telegram app to look however you want it to. To create your own theme go to Settings->Chat Settings ->Theme and tap on “Create New Theme”. Here, first add a custom Name of your Theme and then tap OK.

Public groups can now enable join requests – allowing group admins to review new members before approving them to write in the chat. Users who open the group can tap Request to Join, adding their request to a list that only admins can access. To change your default folder, press and hold a folder in your chat list > Reorder > and drag your preferred folder to the first space. All your normal chat media will be saved in your cloud storage. But, secret chats are not a part of the Telegram cloud. To do this, choose the items you want to send and tap on the three-dot menu. Now select “send without compression”, and you are good to go.

Secret chats Telegram users will now be able to press and hold any items in the list to reorder them and change their priority – downloading the top file first. If you're part of many Telegram chats—maybe you joined too many of the best Telegram channels—they can quickly become annoying. When this happens, you can always mute a chat without leaving it. This way, you can check it on your own terms instead of getting a ping for every new message. Set Reminders

Now tap on Notifications and mute the contact for either a custom period of time or forever. I generally leave it for forever. Disabled: Turn off automatic night mode and always use the chosen theme.
