This makes it easier to log in on other devices, allows you to have multiple accounts on the same device, and makes it so you don’t have to share your phone number with someone to add them as a contact in Telegram. You will never have to worry about on-device storage or losing important files, but the trade-off is that you lose a bit of privacy and security. Next up, tap “Mute for” in the menu and then choose the desired mute duration in the pop-up menu. If you want to choose a custom date and time, tap Mute until and then set the date and time.

Another great option in groups or channels is being able to pin messages. Tap a message and choose Pin to keep it at the top of the chat, where everyone can easily reference it. This update brings improved chat previews on par with iOS. Now you can scroll through them to view the whole chat without marking it as read.
