Telegram Settings Telegram has announced a host of new features for its users. The social messaging app is getting features like Status emoji, Infinite reactions, improved login flow and others. Some of these features are available for all users, while some are available for Premium members only. Hereโs a look at all the features that are coming to Telegram Share Live Location
To enable it, go to โSettingsโ, โData and Storageโ, and turn off automatic download โwhen using mobile dataโ and โwhen roamingโ. You will also see options to turn off autoplay โGIFsโ and Videosโ. To lock a chat go to Settings->Privacy and Security->Passcode Lock and enable it. Once you create a passcode and enable it, you will be able to lock and unlock your chats by tapping on the lock icon at the top right of the app. Public groups can now enable join requests โ allowing group admins to review new members before approving them to write in the chat. Users who open the group can tap Request to Join, adding their request to a list that only admins can access. To create one of these, go to Settings or a Chat Info page, click Edit > click the Profile Picture > select Sticker or Emoji.
You can also able to set your chat to self-destruct in a certain period of time after it has been read or opened. You can also customize your chat background image in โChat Backgroundโ in Chat Settings. A recently introduced feature, Telegramโs new Group Voice Chats allow users in a group to initiate a common group voice chat for all members. However, users can choose to drop out of the ongoing group chat and re-enter at any given point. To make use of this, head into any group of choice and tap on the group name. Now head to the three-dot menu on the top right and choose Start Voice Chat. Letโs say you have enabled the โSlow Modeโ and set an interval of 1 minute. Now members in the group can only send one message per minute. A timer will show them how long they have to wait before sending the next message.
