This saves both time and storage space – so you don't have to save the file before sending it in Telegram.

Appearance section in Telegram To enable it, go to “Settings”, “Data and Storage”, and turn off automatic download “when using mobile data” and “when roaming”. You will also see options to turn off autoplay “GIFs” and Videos”.
