All your normal chat media will be saved in your cloud storage. But, secret chats are not a part of the Telegram cloud. To lock your messages, go to “Settings”, “Privacy and Security” and tap on “Passcode Lock”. You will be asked to set a four-digit passcode and confirm it. Once you do that, you will find additional options to “unlock the app with fingerprint” and “auto-lock” it after a specific duration. This update is being rolled out gradually. If your app is not offering you to update, please wait – the new version will become available soon. You'll have four options to choose from:
