Telegram allows you to schedule messages to be sent at a particular time. Further, you can also send ‘silent’ messages without sound when you do not want to disturb the receiver. A further privacy blunder is that Telegram notifies your contacts when you join it — unless you don’t give it permission to access your contacts.
