To terminate all active seasons, go to βSettingsβ, select βPrivacy and Securityβ, and then click on βActive seasonsβ. It will show you all active sessions along with your device info. Select the one you want to terminate or terminate all of them in one go. However, Telegram only uses this encryption in calls and in its βsecret chatsβ feature, not in regular chats. Those are only encrypted client to server. Meanwhile, WhatsApp, the supposedly less secure service, has used end-to-end encryption in all messages, calls, and video calls since 2016. Plus, if youβre using the βsecret chatsβ feature, youβre getting the same level of end-to-end encryption. On top of this, users canβt forward or screenshot messages in secret chats, and messages can be programmed to self-destruct. Deleting a message also deletes it for everyone on the service, and users have the option to delete not just their own messages, but other usersβ messages, too. Itβs also worth mentioning that all chats are encrypted, even if not end-to-end encrypted.
The iPhone 14 wonβt have a physical SIM β hereβs what that means for you Telegram may be among the most popular messaging services in the world, yet there are still many who donβt know what itβs all about. The app is often name-dropped in discussions regarding online privacy and security, but arenβt all messaging apps secure? Donβt more popular apps like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger (despite their ties to Facebook) also have the fabled βend-to-endβ encryption? What makes Telegram so special? In fact, Telegram has solved the issue with its Secret Chat feature. The platform supports two types of channels: public and private. The former can be found in search, and anyone can join them, whereas the latter can be joined only via invitation links.
One of the nagging issues I have with WhatsApp is its extremely limited text editing features. For example, if someone sends a message, you canβt select a part of text from the message. You will have to copy the whole message and then edit it out in the small text field which frankly is very annoying. However, Telegram has brought a great way to select and copy a part of a message. Tap and hold on a message to select it first and then again tap and hold to select your part of the message. Thatβs ingenious, right? One of the worst parts about messaging apps is that anyone can add you to random groups without your active permission. However, the good part is that Telegram gives you an option to disable it altogether. You can change the desired settings from Settings menu -> Privacy and Security -> Groups -> My Contacts and then select all the Telegram users to βNever Allowβ. I canβt tell you how much I love this Telegram trick. On the same page, Telegram also lists one of its two tenets of internet privacy as βprotecting your personal data from third parties, such as marketers, advertisers, etc.β That puts it in stark contrast to a myriad of services from Facebook, Google, Amazon, and others. Telegram offers plenty of options for customization to make the app feel like a truly personal experience. Here is the list of interface element you can change:
Boo! Check out the new and upcoming Halloween/horror streaming shows and movies Even better, thanks to Cloud Themes, you can share your custom themes (or try themes created by others) using a link. If the owner updates the theme, everyone using it through that link will see the changes. Long-press on a theme and choose Share to make it available to others.
