Israeli forces intercepted an attempt at smuggling a large quantity of weapons into the West Bank on October 8, and released images of what was seized.

Included in the captured weapons are: 15 anti-tank launchers, anti-tank rockets, 16 rifles of various types, 53 pistols of various types, 20 hand grenades, 29 claymore mines, 4 FPV drones, and hundreds of bullets.

The weapons were intended to be transferred to Palestinian armed groups, which have always suffered from low resources due to constant Israeli surveillance, raids, and blockade. This smuggling attempt is the largest in a long time. The Shin Bet claims that the weapons originated from Iran's IRGC.

Three Russian Geran-2 drones struck the Shevchenkivskyi District of Kharkiv City just now. Ukrainian air defence was practically absent, and no drones were shot down. The target of the strikes is currently unknown.

A single Russian Geran-2 drone flew into Sumy and struck something in the city.

Last night, a large-scale Geran-2 drone attack was carried out on Odesa. T17 drones targeted two areas, but the most impacts seemed to have been at the Modna Sumka textiles factory (46.450497, 30.619049), which has not been used for civilian purposes for some time.

Multiple drones were also intercepted by Ukrainian air defence.
