I finally revised both of the incorrect maps initially posted here: https://www.tg-me.com/franfran2424_ES/8601
As a summary, the 2023-2025 ukrainian groups followed regions, while russian groups followed military districts.
Now it's all more complicated:
- Ukrainian groups names ressemble their "military districts" (operational commands), but will handle army corps with units from all over the contry, since units are shuffled around army corps according to operational needs.
-Russian groups "south" and "center" have a mix of units of those two military districts (Southern, Central), and group "dnieper" is manned mostly by units of Southern MD.
More details about their structure in the next post.
