لماذا السرقة الأدبية او العلمية مهمة؟
سرقة عمل شخص آخر هي مسألة لا أخلاقية. يرتكب المؤلف الذي يقدم عملاً مسروقًا إلى مجلة سرقة فكرية فعواقب الانتحال واضحة منها:
1- أنت تقوض الثقة في قيمة المنشورات العلمية. بالتالي قد تتضرر سلامة نظام النشر الأكاديمي.
2- أنت تضع شكوكًا حول مصداقية مقالتك بأكملها وأعمالك الأخرى حيث من الواضح أنك على استعداد لتضليل القراء بأفكار مسروقة.
3- أنت تعطي معلومات خاطئة عن مؤهلاتك وخبراتك.
4- أنت تنكر اعتماد المؤلف الأصلي للعمل وتصادر جهوده.
5- أنت تنتهك القواعد الأخلاقية وحقوق التأليف والنشر.

تعتبر البحوث مثل المرآة للباحث وأيضا تعتبر مثل الرمز الخاص به عندما يتم النظر الى البحوث سوف يكون مؤشر بارزا لتقييمه على المستوى العلمي من حيث امكانيته العلمية وتطوره العلمي لذلك يجب ان يكون للباحث خلفية علمية لذلك يجب ان نضع في اعتبارنا عدة جوانب أهمها:
1- تعتبر البحوث مؤشر للنجاح في التقييم العلمي لأنها تعتبر خلفية او رمز للباحث عندما يقدم الى بعثة او العمل في مجال معين.
2- تعتبر البحوث معلومات أساسية للتمويل في المؤسسات البحثية.
3- تعتبر البحوث معايير داعمة للمشاريع العلمية.
4- تعتبر البحوث مهمة لاستيفاء شروط الحصول على الشهادات العليا كالماجستير او الدكتوراه فعلى سبيل المثال بعض الجامعات تطلب من الطالب نشر 3-4-5 بحوث في دراسته للدكتوراه وبشكل اجباري.
5- يعتبر البحث كأعلام للتعاون بين باحث معين والباحثين الاخرين قد يكونوا من خارج البلد قد اعتمدوا على بحثه.

Over 11 papers a day, with ChatGPT in the title, have been published (so far) this year.
Last year, we regularly looked at how many papers had been published that had 'ChatGPT' in the title.
The graphics shows the current status (28 Jun 2024).
Four papers were published in 2022, Last year, 2,660 papers were published and this year, so far, 2,127 papers have been published.
It won't be too long before the number published this year passes the number published last year.
There has even been one paper published in next year!
