💠Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) talked about Friday and said,

💥"There is an hour (opportune time) on Friday and if a Muslim gets it while praying and asks something from Allah, then Allah will definitely meet his demand."

🔰And he (the Prophetﷺ) pointed out the shortness of that time with his hands.

[Sahih al-Bukhari 935]
💠Abu Musa al-Ashari (Rady'Allahu Anhu) :

🤲"The Du'aa is not rejected during these days of Dhul-Hajjah"

[Lataa’if p. 377]
💠Abû Hurayrah (Rady'Allahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet ‎ﷺ said:

🔰“There are no days more beloved to Allâh (subhanahu wa ta'ala) that He be worshipped in them than the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.

💥The fast of one day from them is equal to the fast of a year, and standing [in Salâh] every night from them is equal to standing [in Salâh] on Laylatul Qadr.”

[Narrated by at-Tirmidhî and others. It was weakened by at-Tirmidhî, al-Baghawî, ibn Taymiyyah, ibn al-Jawzî, ibn Rajab, ash-Shawkânî, al-‘Alwân, al-Hasanî, and many others]
💠 Ibn ‘Abbâs (Rady'Allahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet ‎ﷺ said:

🔰No good deeds done on other days are more virtuous to those done on these [first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah]. They said: Not even Jihâd?

💢He ‎ﷺ said: Not even Jihâd, except a man who goes out it with his life and his wealth, then does not return with anything.

[Sahîh al-Bukhârî]
‼️The sacred months are

💠Dhul-Qiʿdah,
💠Dhul-Hijjah,
💠Muharram and
💠Rajab;

🔥sin and obedience are greater in them than in other months:

🔊“So do not wrong yourselves therein.” [Al-Tawbah 9:36]

‼️If sin is great therein, then obedience is even greater.
💠 Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله was asked which is better, First ten days of Dhul Hijja or the last ten days of Ramadan? He replied:

💥First ten days of Dhul Hijja is better than the last ten days of Ramadan, and the last ten nights of Ramadan is better than the first ten nights of Dhul Hijjah.

🕋 The Creed of Abu'l-Qasim al-Asbahani 🕋
❖ Taken from : al-Hujjah fi Bayaani'l-Mahajjah

💢 Part - 2

❖ Increase and Decrease in iman

❐ And it is possible for iman to increase and decrease. Its increase is by performance of the acts of obedience and its decrease is by abandoning them and doing acts of disobedience.

❐ This is in opposition to the one who says that iman is (merely) the knowledge of the heart and its assent and that these two are indicatives, and that increase and decrease cannot take place in the case of indicative matters.

❐ And it is reported from Ibn Abbas (radyAllahuanhu), Abu Hurayrah (radyAllahuanhu) and Abu ad-Darda (radyAllahuanhu):

❐ "Iman increases and decreases." So when he neglects some of it and performs the forbidden acts then he has neglected some of the actions of iman. Hence, it is permitted that iman be described with increase and decrease.

❖ Iman of the Mukallifin is Not Equal

❐ And the iman of all those tasked (with obedience) from amongst the Angels, Prophets -and those besides them such as the Martyrs and Truthful ones– is not equal. Rather they excel one another to the extent of their level in performing acts of obedience.

❐ This is in opposition to the one who says that iman is (merely) the assent, tasdiq, of the heart and that superiority only takes place with respect to knowledge and the variety in its evidences!

❐ And we have already mentioned that acts of obedience are from iman. It is also known that people excel each other in the acts of obedience. So some of them increase over others, hence it is necessary that superiority be acquired with respect to it.

❖ The Difference between Islam and Iman

❐ And Iman and Islam are two terms referring to two (distinct) meanings.

❐ Islam is a term that refers to the two Shahadahs (testimonies of belief) and assent, tasdiq, of the heart.

❐ And iman is a term that signifies all of the acts of obedience. This is in opposition to the one who says that Islam and iman are the same.

❐ And the evidence for the difference between them is the statement of the Most High:

❐ “Verily the Muslims, men and women, the Believers men and women.” [al-Ahzab 33/36]

❐ So He placed iman after Islam (next to it) and something is not placed straight after itself. So it is known from this that iman has a meaning which extends that of Islam.

❐ What gives evidence to this is the hadith of Umar ibn al-Khattab (radyAllahu anhu) and the saying of Jibril (alayhi wa sallam):

❐ "Tell me about Islam" … and then he said: "Tell me about iman". So this gives evidence to the separation (in meaning) between the two.

❐ What has been reported from Amir bin Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (radyAllahuanhu), from Sa’d (radyAllahuanhu) from RasulAllah (sallallahualaihe wa sallam) also gives evidence to this.

❐ RasulAllah (sallallahualaihe wa sallam) gave something to a group of men but left one of them out. So Sa’d said to him: "You gave to them yet you left him out? By Allah I consider him to be a Believer!" RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) said: "Or a Muslim?!"

❐ So he (sallallahualaihe wa sallam) differentiated between Islam and iman. And we already mentioned that iman is a term that signifies all of the acts of obedience and that Islam is a term that signifies the two testimonies along with the ease of the heart (i.e., its acceptance). So when it is like this then it is obligatory to differentiate between them.

❖ Istithna (excepting oneself from having perfect iman)

❐ And is disliked for the one who has acquired iman that he should say: “I am a believer in truth!” or “I am a (true) believer in the sight of Allah.” Rather he should say: “I hope I am a beliver” or “I am a believer if Allah wills” or “I believe in Allah, His Angels, Books, and His Messengers.”

❐ And none of this is from the angle of doubtfulness in his iman, but it is from the aspect that he cannot be absolutely sure that he has fulfilled every single thing with which he has been order and has left everything that he has been forbidden from.
❐ This is in opposition to the one who says that when a person knows from himself that he is a believer, it is permissible for him to say: “I am a believer in truth!” And the evidence for the impossibility of making this absolute claim (of perfect iman) and the necessity of making exception (istithna) is the ijmaa (consensus) of the Salaf.

❐ It was said to Ibn Mas’ud (radyAllahuanhu): "This person claims that he is a believer? He replied: Ask him whether he is in Paradise or in Hellfire? So they asked him and he replied: Allah knows best. So Abd-Allah (Ibn Mas’ud) said to him:

❐ If only you had entrusted the affair of this life as you have entrusted the affair of the Hereafter (to Allah)! And because it has already been established that iman is characterized by all the acts of obedience and the abandonment of the prohibited matters, then in that situation a person cannot be resolute that he as fulfilled all that is binding upon him and has avoided all that has been prohibited to him.

❐ Therefore, it is no possible for him to know that he is a believer who is deserving of reward.”

💠Shaykhu'l-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said:

💥 "The characteristics of the religion are two fundamentals: That we worship none but Allah; that we do not worship Him except with what He has legislated, we do not worship Him through innovations.

🔰Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) has said: "So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord." [al-Kahf 18/110]

☝️This is the actualization of the shahadatayn, the declaration that none has the right to be worshiped except Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) and the declaration that Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) is the Messenger of Allah.

💠Shaikhu’l-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah
💢 Part : 1

💢It is to follow what Allah (azza wajal) and His Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) have said, and then the Rightly Guided Khalifahs and the Companions, and then those who followed them in goodness.

🔰1️⃣-a Following Allah (azza wajal) and His Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) (⭕️1)

⭕️FN - 1: Allah (azza wajal) said: “Say: O men! I am sent unto you all, as RasulAllah, to Whom belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He: it is He that giveth both life and death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered prophet, who believeth in Allah and His words: follow him that (so) ye may be guided.” [al-Araf 7/158]

💢1️⃣-b Following the Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) and the Rightly Guided Khalifahs

💠 RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) reported to have said: "It is obligatory that you stick to my Sunnah and that of the Rightly Guided Khalifahs after me. Stick to that and bite onto that with your molar teeth. And beware of newly invented matters, for every such matter is an innovation and every innovation leads astray."

💢1️⃣-c Following the Companions

💥They followed RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) in beneficial knowledge and righteous actions. They have the greatest right to be followed after RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) as Allah subhanahu wa taala chose them to accompany RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa) knowing them to be: the most complete in faith; the most superior in intellect; the most upright in actions; the most firm in resolve; the most guided on the correct path they were upon.

1️⃣-d Following Those who followed them in Goodness

🔰And the Imaams of the religion who followed this way who were known for being upon guidance and correctness.

1️⃣-e Believe that Allah (awj) sent His Messenger (saw) with Clear Proofs

🍃And the guidance to obligate all to have faith in him and to follow him. The message of RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) comprised of 2:

1️⃣ Beneficial Knowledge = al-Hudaa (Guidance); and
2️⃣ Righteous Actions = Dinu’l-Haqq (Religion of Truth)

@AlfurqaN_FoundatioN | #Aqeedah
📚Aqidatu’l-Hamawiyyah📚
💠Shaikhu’l-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah
💢 Part : 2

2️⃣-a Beneficial Knowledge (al-Ilmu’n-Nafi)

🔰That which results in good for the Ummah in this world and next. The most beneficial is that of Allah, His Names, Attributes, Actions : It is the essence of tawhidu’l-Uluhiyyah; it is the essence of the prophetic call; by it, is the Religion supported. It's impossible that RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) left it unclearly explained because:

2️⃣-a-i The Message of RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) contained Light and Guidance

💢And Allah (azza wajal) dispatched him as a bringer of glad tidings, a warner and a bright lamp. And greatest most lasting light is that which enlightens the heart as a result of recognizing Allah (azza wajal), His Names and Attributes. Hence he must have explained it clearly.

2️⃣-a-ii RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) taught the Ummah all it Needed to Know

💥He even gave some knowledge of the birds [⭕️3]. Then surely he taught the knowledge of Allah, His Names and Attributes.

FN [⭕️3] Referring to the narration of Abu Dharr (Rady'Allahu anhu).

2️⃣-a-iii Iman in this Knowledge is

💠The basis of the religion; the essence of what the Messenger (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) called to; the most obligatory of knowledge; the most excellent of things that the minds should grasp. So how could he (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) not teach it when he taught lesser matters?

2️⃣-a-iv RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam maganda) was

💥The most knowledgeable about his Lord; the most sincere to the creation; the most eloquent in speech. Hence he could not have left this matter of iman in Allah, His Names and Attributes unclear and doubtful, while this knowledge needed clarification.

2️⃣-a-v the Companions Must have Clearly Conveyed this Knowledge

Or else they were silent or spoke falsely; both are impossible.

2️⃣-a-v-1 It's Impossible that they were Silent

If so, it meant that they were ignorant of what is obligatory to know with respect to Allah (azza wajal), His Names and Attributes, or else they concealed this knowledge purposely.

2️⃣-a-v-1-a It's Impossible that they were Ignorant

🍃For all hearts with life, consciousness, a desire for knowledge and to worship, would have its most important issue as studying iman in Allah, His Names and Attributes, and to realize this in terms of knowledge and belief. And the Companions -the best of people- had most life in their hearts, and greatest love for goodness, and the most desire to realize beneficial knowledge.

💠RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) reported to have said: "The best of the people is my generation, then those who followed them, then those who followed them."

💥And this goodness encompasses their excellence in everything done to bring one closer to Allah, via words, actions and beliefs. And if they were ignorant, then those after them would be more so, as RasulAllah (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) used them to convey the religion. Hence the saying they were ignorant implies that no one now has this knowledge, and this is clearly impossible.

2️⃣-a-v-1-b It's Impossible that they Concealed the Truth

🔰For every rational person knows the Companions to have been eager to convey beneficial knowledge to the Ummah. Hence it's impossible; especially concerning the most obligatory of things to know.

2️⃣-a-v-2 It's Impossible that they Spoke Falsely -i.e., with No Authentic Evidence

💢They were the least likely to speak without knowledge of an authentic proof. They were the first to obey Allah's commands[⭕️4]. And the source of false speech is either ignorance or a desire to misguide, both are impossible.

FN [⭕️4] Allah (azza wajal) said: “And pursue not that of which thou hast no knowledge; for every act of hearing, or of seeing or of (feeling in) the heart will be enquired into (on the Day of Reckoning).” [al-Isra 17/36];
“Say: the things that my Lord hath indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah, for which He hath given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which ye have no knowledge.” [al-Araf 7/33]

2️⃣-a-v-2-a As for Ignorance

‼️Then that is impossible.

2️⃣-a-v-2-b As for Misguiding the Creation

🔥Then this is an evil desire which could not come from the Companions for the Ummah. And if true it implies all what they said about the religion is false and so the whole shari'ah is in doubt. And this saying is futile.

2️⃣-a-v-3 Hence once it's Clear that They did Speak the Truth Concerning this

💢They did so either via their minds or via the revelation.

2️⃣-a-v-3-a As for the Mind

💠Then it can't reach the details of what is obligatory to know of Allah (azza wajal), His Names and Attributes.

2️⃣-a-v-3-b the Only Source of Their Knowledge as the Revelation Brought by Muhammad (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam)

🍃And that leaves the only source of their knowledge as the Revelation Brought by Muhammad (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam).

2️⃣-b Righteous Actions (al-Amalu;s-Salih)

💥Those done: Solely for Allah's sake (al-Ikhlaas); in accordance with the Sunnah of His Messenger (al-Mutaaba'ah). Ahlu’s-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa'ah are those who gather upon adherence to the Prophet's (sallallahu alaihe wa sallam) Sunnah, outwardly and inwardly; in speech, action and belief. Their way with respect to Allah's Names and Attributes is..:
