#Colombia: Ex-President Álvaro Uribe (CD, right) has been found guilty on charges related to bribing witnesses in investigations regarding his connections with paramilitary groups while he was President.

El Salvador: The Legislative Assembly has voted to amend the Constitution to allow indefinite reelection for President and eliminate the runoff election. The decision was passed by a vote of 57-3, led by President Nayib Bukele’s New Ideas (NI, conservative) party.
