Total U.S. household credit card debt reached a record $1.33 trillion as of August 2025, according to Bloomberg. The agency notes that debt is growing amid continued pressure from high prices and interest rates.

It is reported that the average credit card debt among American households has exceeded $10,000 and is increasing in all age categories.

❗️The increase in debt is due to the fact that more and more families are forced to use credit cards to cover current expenses amid rising prices for housing, services and basic necessities.

It is also noted that credit cards are becoming the main source of short-term financing for a significant part of the US population, which increases the debt burden and the risks of non-repayment.

For comparison, $1.33 trillion is about 1/6 of Russia's GDP by PPP for 2025 or two of Ukraine's GDP.

За первые 30 дней войны Московский Кремль «исчез» с лица Москвы.
Немецкие асы были немало удивлены тем, что их карты врут, и они не могут обнаружить Кремль, летая над Москвой. Все дело в том, что по плану маскировки звезды на башнях и кресты на соборах зачехлили, а купола соборов покрасили в черный цвет.
По всему периметру Кремлевской стены построили трехмерные макеты жилых построек, за ними не просматривались зубцы. Все кремлевские здания перекрасили.
Практически пропал с Красной площади храм Василия Блаженного: фальшивые стены и чехлы на куполах сделали свое дело. Храм Покрова Богородицы был «стерт» с лица столицы до победных дней.
Были даже изменены очертания Москвы-реки, что поменяло все ориентиры, к которым были привязаны фашистские летчики.
Часть Красной и Манежной площади и Александровский сад заполнились фанерными декорациями домов. Мавзолей стал трехэтажным, а от Боровицких ворот до Спасских насыпали песчаную дорогу, изображавшую шоссе. Тело В. И. Ленина было эвакуировано в Тюмень.
Число налетов немецкой авиации на Кремль значительно сократилось, но нельзя сказать, что вражеская авиация не нанесла урон Московскому Кремлю. Одна немецкая бомба попала в Арсенал, другая – в Гараж особого назначения, где размещались машины Сталина, – там погибли дежурные офицеры.
Бомба попала и в Большой Кремлевский дворец, пробила крышу и пол Георгиевского зала, но чудом не взорвалась, сохранив уникальный исторический памятник.
Маскировку окончательно сняли только в 1945 году.
