It's the action, not the fruit of the action, that's important. You have to do the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.

To truly know a person, Alexandre, do not ask him who he is. Rather, observe what he does. His father had trained him well. People always told you who they were, if only you knew what to look for.

Starting at zero is a mindset that says my refrigerator is never full, and it never will be.
We can always become stronger and more agile, mentally and physically. We can always become more capable and more reliable.
Since that's the case we should never feel that our work is done.

Often, when we say it is “too late” for us to begin something, what we are really saying is that we aren’t willing to be a beginner. But when we are willing to dip our toe in, even just a little, we are rewarded with a sense of youthful wonder. Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never.

Confidence doesn't come from superficial appearances.
It comes from deep rooted detachment to positive or negative outcomes.
When you genuinely don’t care what happens you're free to go after what you really want.

In life, you will figure out your own thing. When you are trying to make something of yourself, you will have more bad days than good.
That is the separator of those who make it and those who don’t. A person who is able to function at a high level on bad days will make it far in life.
The problem is that most people can’t consistently perform on those bad days.
What I came to realize is that my life was full of very bad days so I had to learn to perfect the conquerer’s mindset.
The conqueror’s mindset is like this- a conquerer doesn’t care what is going on in life. A conquerer knows that life is always going to bring challenges.
It is how we handle those challenges that determines where we end up in life.
Like it or not, it must be done.

Average discomfort is not enough:
"It's easy to say, chase discomfort.
And of that was all there was to it, I could end up here.
You could go after things that make you feel uncomfortable and see results. There is some truth to this, but in real world it's a bit more complicated.
The challenge is that you need to find discomfort in the right areas and the right amounts. You will need to prioritize your discomfort daily. Unfocused and occasional discomfort will result in some progress.
However, the growth you see with this type of effort will result in a linear progression and what we are chasing are geometric results.
You don't only need to do something that makes you uncomfortable today.
You need to put a focus on your discomfort, compounded in the same areas over decades.
You may have to start small, but one area of discomfort will build on the next area, and as this happens, you will see more and more success."
