La Liga censored the protest by players in the Real Oviedo vs Espanyol match against Villarreal vs Barcelona being played in Miami.

As soon as the referee signalled the kick off, the players did not play for 15-20 seconds but La Liga did not broadcast this and instead showed an overhead view of the stadium during this period.

This will be repeated during this weekend's league matches but Villarreal and Barcelona players are excluded from the initiative as per AFE.

LaLiga, for their part, responded by reminding the Players' Association that they have contributed more than €100m to the AFE in 10 years.
