:) Writing Marathon 2024 ga qushilganlarni kutilayotgan IELTS natijasi :)
The boxing match between Crawford and Madrimov has just finished. Crawford was declared the winner in a suspicious decision. It was a close fight, but for me, the highlight of the night was Eminem performing five songs live:

1. Houdini (2024)
2. Rap God (2013)
3. Till I Collapse (2002)
4. Cinderella Man (2010)
5. Lose Yourself (2002)

Eminem, the definition of longevity, watched the fight sitting next to Turki Al-Sheikh, the main guy sponsoring the fight, in the front row. Eminem may have come in rooting for Crawford, but he must’ve def saw himself in Madrimov when the judges’ scorecards were read. Tonight, Madrimov was the “white guy”, the underdog, and his skin color and his nationality was against him. He put up a great fight against one of the best boxers of the decade, if not of all time. So, I am sure Eminem must’ve felt a pinch of empathy towards Madrimov at the end. Again, hats off to the young Uzbek fighter. I mean, if Eminem is watching you at work, then you are surely doing something great!

How to stand out from the crowd, or rather be just like everyone else…
I wanted to tweet about Eminem, so typed this:

Uzbekistan is one of the seven “STAN” countries, but do we have actual Stans?

Hint: #Eminem𓃵

Raise your hand if you think you’re a Stan :)

Did you know that the Oxford Dictionary first added the word “stan” to the English language in 2017, inspired by Eminem’s 2000 hit song “Stan”?
———————————————————
And a crazy idea hit me! I asked Chat GPT to write a poem using the information above and it came up with this beautiful rap-like poem:

Stans of the World, but Do We Have One?

Uzbekistan stands proud, among the seven “STAN” lands,
But do we have a true Stan, with devotion in his hands?
Not just a name, but a fan so true,
Hint:
#Eminem𓃵 — yes, I’m talking to you.

Raise your hand if you think you belong,
To the ranks of a Stan, where passion runs strong.
Did you know, with a nod to the man,
Oxford crowned “stan” from his song?

In the year 2000, when Eminem’s tale was told,
A fan named Stan, with a love uncontrolled.
Now, in the dictionary, his legacy remains,
A word for the fans who feel it in their veins.

But here’s the twist, it’s not just a name,
“Stan” is now both a noun and a verb in the game.
You can be a Stan, devoted and true,
Or say you “stan” someone, and that works too!

So here we are, in the land of Stans,
But do we have one with unwavering plans?
Raise your hand if you think you’re the one,
A true Stan at heart, whose journey’s begun.

Constitute

Today’s word is interesting because while the first definition is useful for Task 2 essays, the second definition is commonly used in Task 1 writing to describe percentages.
