To go vs to study

In English, it's very common to say "to go to [university name]" to indicate that you're a student at that university. In Uzbek, we usually use the word "study" to convey the same meaning. While "study" isn't necessarily incorrect, "go" is more commonly used, particularly in everyday English.

P.S. If you’ve paid attention, one of the first questions asked in your IELTS Speaking exam is: β€œDo you work or are you a student?” rather than β€œDo you work or study?”

After watching a disturbing video of a pit bull attacking a young girl's face, I decided to research dog attacks further.

(It) turns out that pit bulls are responsible for more than half of all fatal dog attacks, despite making up only about 6% of the total dog population.

Here's a simple rhyme to help you remember what to do if you ever encounter a bear.

"If it’s black, fight back."
"If it’s brown, lie down."
"If it’s white, good night."
