Text:
In the world of business, where todayβs fashionable management theory soon becomes a stale clichΓ© or a quaint archaism, it is essential to have a clear idea about the enduring rules of good management. The company that follows these is the company that is in the strongest position amid the uncertainties and violent upheavals of the world as we know it.

Par B:
Company is the sum of what its people understand and know how to do well. Value lies increasingly in creative ideas and knowledge. But ideas have value only if people share and develop them in ways that increase revenue; knowledge is useful only if people can find what they need to know. Getting intelligent people to share what is in their heads is vital, and takes more than mere money or clever software. Ideas must flow in every direction through a company β not merely from the top down. And knowledge is worth storing only if senior staff set careful rules to filter and structure it. What goes into a database determines the value of what comes out. So setting central rules and standards is key to good knowledge management.

Sometimes, for fun, I ask my students to predict the upcoming questions. Those who are not familiar with this passage, can you try to write a Yes/No/NG statement based on this small paragraph. Let's see if it is easy to create reading questions.
Par C:
Good judgment is a key skill. Managers constantly blitzed with new information needed to build in the data that matters and set aside the rest. Big-bang decisions are generally best avoided - or implemented in small incremental moves that leave room for flexibility and for altering course, if circumstances change.

#ReadingTip
If your reading score is 8.0 or higher, here is a useful tip that can help you deal with Identifying Information (T/F/NG or Y/N/NG) questions. Having taken the real test many times, I've come to a conclusion that the following tip works 95% of the time.
Uniform Distribution Strategy:
In IELTS reading, answers to T/F/NG or Y/N/NG questions are often evenly distributed. For instance, if there are 6 questions, you might expect 2 True, 2 False, and 2 Not Given. If the number of questions is not divisible by 3, follow the "difference of 1" strategy: one type of answer is not likely to outnumber the others by more than 1.
Use with Caution:
Pattern Observation: This pattern is common but not guaranteed.
Confidence Required: This tip helps only if you are confident in your previous answers.
Final Question Tip: If unsure about the last question and youβve followed the distribution pattern, choose the answer that maintains the balance.
So here is a question to check your understanding:
what is the expected distribution pattern if we have a total of 8 questions?

Who else is listening to Eminemβs new single on repeat?
Whatβs your favorite line? Mine is the one about his Siamese cat :)
Hereβs the line I came up with inspired by the new single:
βWe definitely need Slim Shady in 2024
to bring the sanity back to the worldβ
