Great clip. I would add: fiat currency was actually (mostly) a good thing for humanity, because it drastically reduced transaction costs. Paper and digital money allowed for much smoother and faster commerce. Obviously the big downside to that was inflation, but people were able to shield themselves from most inflation by storing their wealth in assets. Bitcoin was a major breakthrough in both money AND value-storage. So it's the first real upgrade from fiat.
