Art Therapy and Self Care Group

Date: July, 2021 (Tentative)
Time: Friday 7:00-8:15 pm
Length : 5 online sessions
Number of Participants: 8 per group
Age: 18+

Target group:
Hongkongers who are in a period of adjustment having recently moved to the UK, and feel that they would benefit from art and positive coping skills.

Group goals:
- Explore and express emotions through the use of art material and discussions.
- Boost creativity and coping skills.
- Connect with other HongKongers who share similar experiences.

Notes:
1. A pre-group meeting will be held prior the start of the group.
2. Participants are expected to attend all 5 sessions to create stability in the group.
3. Experience in art is not a requirement.
4. The group will be conducted in Cantonese.

對象： 18歲或以上，初到英國的香港人
組員數目：8人

「就近日於曼徹斯特所發生的不幸事情，在尋求政治庇護中的抗爭者圈子中引起莫大迴響，有人鑑於流亡抗爭者的路更為崎嶇難行，希望能自發組成互助團體，致力使大家都能免於獨自面對目前種種難關。

並就此希望能夠提醒同路人，如若情緒不穩、在尋求政治庇護或於英國定居過程中遇人不淑，請不要默默承受，而要尋求信任的人或可信賴的機構協助。」
