數百萬中小學生經歷兩個多月「在家學習」後，終於可以再次回校上課。師生們除了面對追趕學習進度的壓力外， 亦需按政府規定執行一些額外的防疫措施：包括中學生需在校進行3次自願檢測，以及在班房內必需配戴口罩等。


提提大家，居家令（stay home）目前仍未解除，外出時必需有法例容許的理由，並應注意相關的人數規定及保持社交距離。

However, because of their parents' political position, their freewills were not respected by ownself when they were children. 緬甸軍方發動政變，拘捕昂山素姬及其內閣官員，驅使民眾走上街頭抗爭。緬甸嘅街頭染上左人民嘅鮮血，目前(3月8日)已有超過60人被軍隊殺害。人民即使面對催淚彈、警棍、橡膠彈、水砲以至實彈，都毫不退縮，甚至效法香港人嘅抗爭策略。因為緬甸人知道自由嘅可貴，為左守護緬甸不惜壯烈犧牲。

緬甸一幕幕嘅慘劇令我諗起香港係2019年嘅時代革命，人民因為同樣嘅原因而戰。我地都對真正嘅民主自由渴求已久，期待有一個尊重人民意願、聆聽人民訴求嘅政府。我地咁做純粹出於對香港嘅愛。

緬甸人民所經歷嘅苦難係一場人道災難。佢地值得自由世界嘅人嘅關注同援助。全世界追求自由嘅人都唔應該對佢地視而不見，而係同對抗暴政嘅人民企係同一陣線。破壞一個地方嘅民主，等同破壞全世界嘅民主。

我地應該先放底昂山素姬嘅種族滅絕及其腐敗嘅行徑，將目光放係人民嘅意願同民主有冇得到尊重。

Civilians started taking to the street and workers going on strike to express their anger in response to the coup overturning the elected civilian government led by Suu Kyi and arrests of her supporters by the military.

Tear gas, batons, rubber bullets, water cannons and eventually live rounds bullets were what they were met with. Protestors' Blood has been shed and as of the 8th of March it's reported that over 100 people have been killed by the military. The military has waged war on its citizens. Yet, the protestors are not backing down and have adopted tactics commonly seen during the movement in Hong Kong, because they love their country so much that they are willing to sacrifice so much for it.

All these tragic scenes reminds me of the democratic movement in Hong Kong since the 2019, where we have been fighting for the same causes. We have been longing for true democracy and justice, where the will of the people are being respected and opinions can be expressed with censorship from the government. We are doing these because we really love our home, Hong Kong.

What have been happening in Myanmar is clearly a humanitarian crisis, where its people are suffering. They deserve our attention to the least and humanitarian aid from the free world. Activists around the world who fight for freedom should not stay silence and should put on a united front against any form of tyranny. An attack on democracy in one country is an attack on the free world.

It is not about whether Suu Kyi is responsible for genocide and corrupted. It is about whether the the will of the Myanmar people and the democratic system have been respected.

【🇨🇳 中國外交部就新疆問題報復 制裁九名英國人員及四個英國組織💥】

中國外交部就新疆人權問題報復，宣布制裁英國九名人員及四個組織，指責英方「基於謊言和虛假信息」制裁中國，是違反國際法和國際關係基本準則，粗暴干涉中國內政。

因此，即日起禁止他們及其家屬入境中國領土，凍結其在華財產，及禁止中國公民及機構與其交易。

被制裁人士包括下議院外交事務專責委員會主席Tom Tugendhat、保守黨前黨魁Iain Duncan Smith、保守黨議員Neil O’Brien、上議院議員David Alton勳爵、「跨黨派國會香港小組」Tim Loughton、保守黨議員Nusrat Ghani、國際律師會人權研究所主任兼御用大律師Baroness Helena Kennedy、大律師Sir Geoffrey Nice及維吾爾專家Joanne Nicola Smith Finley。

而被制裁的英國組織則為中國研究小組China Research Group、保守黨人權委員會Conservative Party Human Rights Commission、維吾爾獨立法庭Uyghur Tribunal，以及埃塞克斯園大律師事務所Essex Court Chambers。

英國首相Boris Johnson隨後在Twitter表示，被制裁的英國公民及組織，是為受到嚴重人權侵犯的維吾爾族穆斯林提供曙光，並永遠支持他們。

遭到制裁之一的上議院議員David Alton勳爵表示，會繼續為被剝奪人權及自由的人發聲。

維吾爾專家Joanne Nicola Smith Finley也在Twitter上回應，指自己遭制裁是因為道出了新疆維吾爾族的悲劇真相，也因為她有良知。她不感到後悔，也不會因此噤聲。

而埃塞克斯園大律師事務所Essex Court Chambers在中國宣布制裁措施後，移除了網站上有關維吾爾族人權問題的文章。可見中國的反制措施對英國仍有一定程度的影響力，使部份組織或機構，無法對中國人權問題作表態，或是發表任何批評中國的言論。

英格蘭和威爾士律師協會人權委員會The Bar Human Rights Committee of England and Wales則回應指，律師在法治國家中有著極其重要的作用，不應因其專業工作而遭受制裁的威脅。中國制裁英國律師的行為，正好反映他們對於普世價值、人權和法治的蔑視。



作為香港人，經歷過這幾年，我們領悟到自由不但不是免費的，更加是可以輕易地失去的。我們呼籲自由世界的人民，聯手對抗邪惡的中國共產黨。

The Chinese Communist Party sanctioned 9 individuals and 4 organisations in the UK for ‘spreading false information’ with regards to the situation in Xinjiang.

While the majority of those who have been sanctioned have stood their ground with regards to the genocide of Uyghurs in Xinjiang, the reactions of some are extremely concerning.

Following the sanctions, Essex Court Chambers (sanctioned by the CCP) removed their article on the situation of Uyghurs from their website. This is a prime example of self-censorship which poses an enormous threat to the free world. This case also demonstrates how the CCP asserts its influence overseas in its ‘stealth war’ against the free world.

The UK, being part of the free world, has the responsibility to defend the fundamental values of freedom and democracy. This is not done through any kind of noble act, but rather is done through your participation in civil society and politics by exercising your voting rights, your freedom of speech and expression, and most importantly to educate yourself about current affairs. We must not bow down to the thuggish Chinese Communist Party.

As Hongkongers, we know that freedom is something that could be lost and should not be taken for granted. We learnt it the hard way, and we urge the members of the free world to stand their ground against the totalitarian Chinese Communist Party.

對於封城措施能否如期放寛，政府一直強調要視乎數據而非日期。盡管近日牛津／阿斯利康（Oxford-AstraZeneca）疫苗的安全性以及印度生產批次延誤一度引起 「疫苗接種計劃進度」會否受影響的疑慮，但隨著歐洲藥品管理局公布的調查結果顯示阿斯利康疫苗安全有效；以及首批莫德納（Moderna）疫苗定於4月抵達英國，民眾將可如期接種第2劑疫苗。首相約翰遜亦於日前確認英格蘭封城措施將如期放寬。

英國自1月起推動大規模疫苗接種以來，新增確診人數顯著回落。截至昨日（3月28日）已有超過3千萬民眾接種第一劑疫苗，佔成年總人口57％。而單日新增確診及死亡數字亦大幅回落至3,862宗及19人。

CRPH Supporters UK, a Burmese expatriate group based in the UK, is organizing a demonstration in London on 31st March against the Myanmar military coup.
Justitia Hong Kong is calling for Hong Kong people to join us in the protest in solidarity and to show support to Myanmar.

The demonstration will commence outside the UK Houses of Parliament at 11.30 am on the day, after which the crowd will proceed to the Chinese Embassy for another demonstration at 1 pm.

Participants are reminded to wear face masks and maintain a social distance of 2 metres.

【🔥 埃塞克斯園大律師事務所被中國制裁後 六名新加坡成員宣布退出👩🏻‍⚖️👨🏻‍⚖️】

早前埃塞克斯園大律師事務所Essex Court Chambers，因有四名成員以個人身份對維吾爾族人權問題提供法律意見，導致整個事務所被中國制裁。

隨後他們移除了網站上相關文章，並發聲明澄清，指Alison Macdonald QC、Jackie McArthur、Naomi Hart和Lorraine Aboagye四名成員，是以個人身份提供獨立法律意見，且他們的行為是受到英國大律師標準委員會監管，該事務所並非律師行或法律實體，事務所成員均為自僱或獨立執業，重申事務所其他成員沒有參與，或是負責有關新疆問題的法律意見。

英國大律師公會主席Derek Sweeting QC則回應指，他們強烈譴責這種威脅行為，成員只是提供專業法律意見而遭受制裁，這是對法治的攻擊。

直至今日，再有六名的新加坡成員，宣布退出埃塞克斯園大律師事務所，可見中國制裁措施對事務所帶來的危機日漸加深。

JHK would like to thank CRPH Supporters UK (the Burmese protest organiser) for inviting us to give a short speech in this protest and all the Hong Kongers who attended to show support to Burmese. We would like to urge all HKers to adopt the spirit of the Milk Tea Alliance to be in solidarity with Burma.


在中國領事館前，主辦方亦有邀請「暖氣軍師撐香港」發言人 Terry 發言。身上披香港旗的 Terry 表示，香港人來到現場，是為支持緬甸人對抗暴政及軍政府。他表示，軍方向緬甸人宣戰，已殺害超過 500 人，包括年輕人和小孩。他又提到，中共政權是香港人與緬甸人的共同抗爭對象，「我們香港人與緬甸人站在一起」。現場緬甸人士紛紛高喊 Thank you Hong Kong、「謝謝香港」，以示感謝。

'We have been helpless against an unelected government imposing its rules over our population, and that both unelected governments are backed by China, a common enemy.
