《香港人在英國的心理健康情況問卷調查》

此問卷目的為收集香港人在英國的心理健康數據，分析港人面對最大的困難或擔憂。數據亦可幫助英國的各機構和部門了解港人需要，從而設立和尋找最適合的服務給予港人。

兩個月前推出問卷調查， 非常感謝84名參加者， 當中更超過一半人士願意留下電郵地址，接受日後的匿名訪問。

我們希望更多香港人能幫忙填寫問卷，數據不但能夠讓我們更了解港人心理健康情況，從而更快捷準確地設計幫助港人的服務，亦會促進我們與政府之間的遊說工作。

蓋伊•福克斯(Guy Fawkes)之夜 l以及它與香港民主運動的關係》

篝火之夜，也被稱為蓋伊•福克斯之夜，是英國11月5日一年一度的紀念活動。

節慶淵源可追溯至1605年11月5日，蓋伊•福克斯和他的天主教教友們在議會大廈地下室內存放大量炸藥，計劃在11月15日議會大幕當天引爆炸藥炸死占士一世和其他議員，但被議會的保衛隊長抓獲，於次年2月10日在倫敦塔處死。為了紀念國家面臨的這個迫在眉睫的危機，占士一世決定將11月5日定為篝火之夜。至20世紀篝火之夜成為令人愉快的社會紀念活動，今天的篝火之夜通常在大型有組織的活動中慶祝，以篝火和奢華的煙花表演為中心。

後來插畫家 David Lloyd 描繪了一張紅臉頰、兩頭上翹的大鬍子和細細垂直尖鬍子的笑臉；該設計在「V 字仇殺隊」及其 2005 年電影改編中被用作主要情節元素後，代表了廣泛的抗議。該面具既隱藏了身份，又保護了個人的面孔，給予大家一個通用的形象，同時亦連結彼此形成一個團體，因此受到世界各地的抗爭者廣泛使用。

在香港的民主運動中，我們也經常能發現蓋伊·福克斯面具的身影，由於2005年「V 字仇殺隊」的電影內容令許多港人能夠產生共鳴，同時間蓋伊·福克斯面具寓意着抗議權威及暴政，因此受到香港市民於反抗運動中的廣泛使用，抗爭者亦會於11月5日篝火之夜的晚上一同穿上全黑的服裝及戴着蓋伊·福克斯面具走上街頭表達對當權者的不滿。

《一位在英港人對和平紀念日的分享》

我在香港是一個很少慈善買旗的人，除了每年11月初會見到虞美人花 (Poppy)的賣旗活動, 因為此為《和平紀念日》（Remembrance Day）的象徵，而以往在香港時，亦會於11月11日在中環和平紀念碑觀禮。

《和平紀念日》是悼念在第一次及第二次世界大戰犧牲的軍人與民眾，日期沿自1919年英聯邦紀念的停戰日（Armistice Day），而用虞美人花的典故則來自《法蘭德斯戰場》（In Flanders Field）一詩，這首詩描寫一戰壕溝戰況中的鮮血，後延伸為止戰，及紀念為民眾犧牲的眾人。

英國作為經歷過一、二次世界大戰的國家，當天會在Whitehall舉行主要儀式，希望大家也會為過往二戰時保衛香港的盟軍，以及這兩年為香港犧牲的同路人悼念。

Chow Tsz-lok, a student of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, passed away for 2 years. In the pass 2 years, the authority exhausted its influence to the mass media, to defame Chow and cover up the truth. The above timeline was created by HKUST students, stated what happened after Chow fell from the car park, we would like to stress that:

- Police fired tear gas to the car park, where the crowd was no where inside.
- According to the chat record of Chow and his father, Chow was conscious and he saw the tear gas.
- After Chow fell onto the 2nd floor of the car park, firefighters and first-aiders arrived within 5 minutes, but the police warned theme to leave by guns pointing
- First-aiders tried to enter the car park for multiple times, but were all stopped by the police.
- A man urged the police to unblock the entrance, but was threatened by guns and attacked by pepper spray and batons.

The police fired tear gas to the car park for no reason, and preventing the first-aiders to save Chow. Therefore, the police are undoubtedly fully responsible for the death of Chow.

路線難度：環繞Hollingworth Lake至Blackstone Edge大概8英里，高度約300米，需時約4-5小時， 屬於中級難度路線。

Who: Manchester & District Walkers (https://www.madwalkers.org.uk)walks and JHK collaboration

Aim & objectives: Help HKers in Manchester to expand their local networks and integration. Please try to talk to locals in English instead of gathering in a small group to talk in cantonese.

Difficulty of route: Circular walk from Hollingworth Lake to Blackstone Edge. It's roughly 8 miles and 300 metres ascent. Duration is 4-5 hours

This is an intermediate level walk, start time 10:00am sharp at Littleborough train station. Drivers can park at Hollingworth Lake Visitor Centre car park OL16 1AQ where the rest of the group will join around 10.20am. Please be on time, arrive 10-15min before start time.

This is an intermediate level walk, For those taking the train, meet at Manchester Victoria train station at 9:40, in order to catch the 9:54 train. Alternatively, if some people want to make their own way to Littleborough train station, meet there at 10:12. For those driving, drivers can park at Hollingworth Lake Visitor Centre car park OL16 1AQ where the rest of the group will join around 10.30am. Please be on time, arrive 10-15min before start time

The event will go ahead unless there is dangerous weather conditions. We will provide updates 2-3 days before the event when bad weather is confirmed.

Important note: You are required to wear waterproof walking boots for your own safety. It's very common to cross streams, farms, rocky & muddy terrain that can be slippery. A pair of walking boots provide better grip to avoid any injury. You may not be able to join if you dont have proper walking boots. Your shoe will get muddy at the end of the walk. 《回顧。不忘》




2019年11月11日，警方係冇搜查令下進入中大。
11月12日，黑警對學校左射左過千粒催淚彈，同時校園外多區有人發起「圍魏救趙」行動。
當年六四屠城，有學生走左入北大清華躲避，解放軍都冇攻入校園。而鄧炳強比解放軍更暴虐，主動攻打自己嘅母校。
與此同時，理大付近都有示威，直到11月16日，大量警員到場，以裝甲車對付平民。
1948年共軍圍困長春城，導致十幾萬平民餓死。可能香港警察想對中共致敬，對理大圍而不攻。
黑警嘅暴行受整個民主自由世界嘅聲討。11月15日，美國參議院以特快方式通過《香港人權及民主法案》。
曾志健、周梓樂、西灣河槍擊案，當時香港人日夜睇住黑警嘅暴行，罄南山之竹，書罪未窮，但竟無一人受罰，
令香港人開始懷疑自己究竟係咪活係文明社會。
對於兩大值唔值得守，各人有唔同睇法。但當時嘅香港人已經義憤填膺，冇野阻到一眾義士保衛兩大。
參與守衛戰嘅義士，即使素未謀面，仍守望相助。前線浴血奮戰，沸聲若雷。運輸、補給、醫療，亦各施其職。
禮記曰：「儒有忠信以為甲胄，禮義以為干櫓。雖有暴政，不更其所。」
參與兩場守衛戰嘅義士實踐左孔夫子嘅說話，即使面對懸殊嘅武力，
為信念從沒退後，爭先上前線對抗暴政，可謂「誠既勇兮又以武，終剛強兮不可凌。」

On 11th November, entered the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CU) without a search warrant.
Students tried to resist them, lots of protesters arrived at the CU to support them.
Massive conflicts were broken out on 12th November,
the police advanced and fired over 1000 canisters of tear gas into the CU.
Compare to the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre, when students went into the universities in Beijing,
the Chinese troops did not attack the universities.
While the then Commissioner of Police, Chris Tang Ping-Keung, was more notorious,
he invaded his alma mater.
Meanwhile, there were protests in another university, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Poly U).
On 16th November, more police came to the Poly U and attacked the civilians by armored car.
Looking back to the Siege of Changchun in 1948, around 150,000 civilians starved under the Communist's siege.
Adopting the same strategy, HK police cut all the food supply of the Poly U.
The whole world strongly condemned the infamous HK police.
On 15th November, the United States Senate unanimously passed the "Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act"
From 6th June, Hong Kong people witnessed police brutality for days and nights,
but not a single policeman had been punished.
In wrath, doubts dispelled we make our stand.
Guns and tear gas did not stop raged Hong Kong people from protecting their land.
In the CU and the Poly U, the protesters did not know each other but were all united as one.
Because they all knew, "when dictatorship is a fact, revolution becomes a duty."

Rally for the 2nd Anniversary of the “Hong kong Universities Siege”

Marking the 2nd anniversary of the “Hong kong Universities Siege”, Liverpool Stands with Hong Kong will be Joint with Justitia Hong Kong to hold a rally in memorial of the incident and we would like to make use of art displays in this event to explain to the local community the the impact of this incident caused to Hongkongers, why hongkongers lost their trust in Hong Kong police force along side with reason behind why we continue fighting against the totalitarian government and the downfall of Hong Kong.

《中大理大人道災難兩週年紀念活動》

11月是【大學保衛戰】兩週年，我們將於11月28（星期日）於Southbank 舉行紀念活動，展出多幅【中大保衛戰】、【理大圍城】及反送中示威相片，希望更多本地人了解這場人道災難及我們仍然堅守信念的原因。相片由‘’Nottingham Stands With Hong Kong‘’提供，初次在倫敦展出。


我們將同時設立街站，舉行跟「細葉榕」合作的首次活動，邀請途人寫信予因反送中活動而在囚人士。

In memory of【University Campus Sieges】, we are holding an event at Southbank on 28 November 2021 (Sunday) as November marks the second anniversary of the incident. Various photographs capturing moments of 【Siege of the Chinese University of Hong Kong】, 【Siege of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University】and the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill Movement provided by “Nottingham Stands With Hong Kong” are to make their debut in London. It is hoped that Britons would learn the humanitarian crisis in Hong Kong, as well as the reason behind our persistence.

On the day a street counter would be set up for our first collaboration with "Banyan Tree Aid", in which members of public are invited to write to protestors jailed over the Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill Movement.

Feel free to drop us a DM if you would like to volunteer in the exhibition. You may also contribute on the day by writing a letter to our fellows who are now behind bars.

《回顧。不忘》

2019年11月24日，香港舉行左史上唯一一次真實顯示民意嘅選舉。
由於依場區議會選舉緊隨中大理大保衛戰，當時嘅香港人對港共政權恨之入骨，
因而創造出奇蹟，投票率高達7成、87%議席由民主派奪得。

好多抗爭者覺得，區議會選舉係反抗陣營係反送中運動中唯一一場勝仗。
兩年過去，係富北韓特色嘅新選舉制度下，連區議員都被DQ甚至流亡。
好多人覺得心灰意冷，但我地不妨想像下，假設2019年我地冇反抗過，歷史會有咩發展：

- 韓國瑜當選總統，其後台灣實施一國兩制，民主回歸中國
- 連香港人台灣人都覺得中國制度冇問題，咁西方民主國家就冇原因制裁中國，唔會有今日國際圍堵中國嘅形勢
- 國際社會冇原因將香港人、台灣人同中國人區分，係移民、留學、經商、檢疫等議題上，一律視為中國人

筆者相信無論2019年有冇抗爭，香港淪為南深圳係無可避免，只係速度有唔同。
2019年舉世矚目嘅抗爭，令國際社會得知香港人同大部分發達國家一樣，支持民主自由。

On 24th Nov 2019, Hong Kong held the only election that truly represented the public opinion under China's governance.
All the elections in Hong Kong are considered to be sham elections, in which pro-Beijing parties enjoy huge advantages, and opposition candidates are disqualified or even arrested on false charges.

Nonetheless, pro-democracy candidates won 87% of the seats in the District Council Election in 2019. Due to the barbaric actions against protesters, especially the crimes against humanity committed by Hong Kong police in the sieges of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hongkongers made a historical voter turnout of 70%.

After suffering a landslide defeat, the dictatorial regimes tightened the right to free elections. Even holding a preliminary election violated the national security law. On 6 January 2021, 6 organisers and 47 participants of the preliminary election were arrested and charged for conspiracy to commit subversion. Now the election in Hong Kong is nothing more than the elections in North Korea.

11月是【大學保衛戰】兩週年，我們明天將於Southbank 舉行紀念活動，展出多幅【中大保衛戰】、【理大圍城】及反送中示威相片，希望更多本地人了解這場人道災難及我們仍然堅守信念的原因。相片由‘’Nottingham Stands With Hong Kong‘’提供，初次在倫敦展出。

我們將同時設立街站，舉行跟「細葉榕」合作的首次活動，邀請大家成為「寫信師」，寫信予因反送中活動而在囚人士。

希望明天可以見到大家。
