There is nothing we can do to prevent the life cycle of a human being from ending. But, the pubs that served the people before us could so easily live for many centuries or even millennia if only they, the economy they depend on, and the society that loves them were properly maintained.

Award-winning Walmer pub goes up for sale - after boss falls in love with teaching
A pub landlord will sell his award-winning boozer after 20 years having fallen in love with life as a teaching assistant.
The ground floor balcony of the Prospect of Whitby, which has been used for centuries, can no longer be accessed. How lucky we are to have had the opportunity to do so. Maybe it will reopen, or maybe it's gone for good. We can only hope that it comes back to life.

👥 Meeting At: Aldgate Station
🕦 Time: 11 AM
The tour will last between 3 - 4 hours and will, of course, include a few stops for refreshment. 🍺
We will be visiting some of #London's most famous and impressive pubs whilst venturing into various historical epochs. Britain's pubs were never just places to drink, but a much needed excuse to be among one another. And of course, during many fascinating times in history. The public houses we still walk past today played their parts in everything from law to war. Join us for a walk and a few refreshments as we delve into the living museums of #Britain.
Prices: £20 per ticket (for over 18s),
16-18: £10
Under 16s: Free (If accompanied by a paying adult)
