In 1962, due to overwhelming financial hardship, her birth mother made the painful decision to give her up for adoption. Monica never went searching. But she prayed.

And God, in His gentle, providential way, began weaving a story only He could write. Through her vocation in Opus Dei, Monica was drawn deeper into her faith and closer to the heart of God. It was within that same spiritual family that she met Christina, a woman who had quietly carried the memory of a sister given away.

No prayer is wasted. No hope is in vain. He is always at work, even in the silence.

Angelaโ€™s father, Harold Lecomber, was the man who gifted and laid the tiles of the mosaic backdrop at the altar of the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd. Just as the mosaic will last for years to come, so will the impact he had on Angelaโ€™s life.

Through Angelaโ€™s sharing, we see the impact of a father just by their very being. Harold was outgoing and gentle, appreciated the little things, had a heart for the disabled and a deep love for Christ. Through his example, Angela had learnt the importance of gratitude, compassion, faith, and the strength found in gentleness.

This Fatherโ€™s Day, we honour and thank the men in our lives who too have made a lasting impact. May we affirm all they have done, show our heartfelt appreciation, and encourage them to continue reflecting the love of Christ.

Schoolโ€™s out โ€” but faith doesnโ€™t take a break.

Amidst outings, enrichment classes, and well-deserved rest, the June holidays offer a precious opportunity to nurture your childโ€™s faith in simple, meaningful ways.

A whispered bedtime prayer, a visit to the Adoration room, weekday Mass, or even a fun feast day craft, these little moments become lasting seeds of grace.  ๐ŸŒฑ

Here are some easy and faith-filled activities you can try with your child today!
We all love a good one-liner. โ€œDo your best and God will do the rest.โ€ โ€œGod helps those who help themselves.โ€ Growing up, we heard these all the time, especially before exams or when life got tough.

But letโ€™s be honest, life isnโ€™t always that simple. These sayings might offer a quick answer, but they donโ€™t always speak to the full weight of our struggles or the grace we truly need.

So the next time you find yourself clinging to a one-liner, pause. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom. Godโ€™s truth runs deeper than any catchy phrase, and He walks with us through every nuance.

She wonโ€™t always say, โ€˜Daddy, come and see.โ€™ One day, the hand that reaches for yours will let go. And the moments you thought were smallโ€ฆ will be the ones you miss most.

While youโ€™re scrolling, sheโ€™s growing. While youโ€™re busy, sheโ€™s becoming. God entrusted you with the gift of her life, not just to provide, but to be present. Fatherhood isnโ€™t just a role, itโ€™s a sacred calling. Itโ€™s in the ordinary moments; bedtime stories, scraped knees, whispered prayers that a child learns what love looks like, and how God the Father draws near.

Be the dad she remembers.
Be the father she needs.

Have you ever wondered why the Sacred Heart of Jesus is on fire? โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ

The flames are no accident. They're a powerful sign of His burning love for you. This image, revealed to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in the 17th century, shows a heart consumed with love, mercy, and longing for us to return to Him.

Itโ€™s not just poetic, itโ€™s biblical. Think of the fire that spoke to Moses in the burning bush, or the tongues of flame at Pentecost. God's love has always been a love that burns fiercely, faithfully, and forever.

๐Ÿ”ฅ His Heart is on fire for you. Will you let yours be set ablaze too?
One of the most beautiful gifts of a Catholic education is this: your child doesnโ€™t just learn about Jesus โ€” they are given the chance to encounter Him, personally and meaningfully, right in the rhythm of their school day. โœจ

As you consider where to enrol your child during the upcoming P1 registration, we invite you to pause and reflect on what truly matters. In Catholic schools, the Eucharist is not just an event; itโ€™s the heartbeat of school life.

It deepens faith, nourishes spiritual growth, builds community, forms Christian moral values and provides space for prayer and reflection. In these schools, your child will grow not only in knowledge but in love, compassion, and purpose, guided by faith. Because Catholic education isnโ€™t just about preparing them for the next exam, itโ€™s about preparing them for life with Jesus at the centre.
