STARTING XI:
Sanchez - 6: Multiple important saves throughout. Poor distribution, especially early on. Not much could be done for the goals
Gusto - 4: Pace was important on the wings with quick opposing wingers. Lost the header leading to the second goal. Must improve in possession and with final delivery. Good effort defensively, but needs to improve defensive positioning.
Chalobah - 4.5: Struggled to deal with Flamengoโs pace in behind. Positioning was poor on multiple occasions.
Colwill - 4.5: Vital goal line clearance in the first half and was overall very active defensively. Poor defensive organization in the second half.
Cucurella - 5: High energy in attack and defense. Many important defensive contributions. Could have done better with his headed opportunity.
James - 4: Solid effort defensively, couldnโt quite cover enough ground to progress possession or balance the midfield.
Caicedo - 6: Work rate defensively was top notch with multiple important interventions and recovery. Was caught holding the Flamengo attackers onside for their opener.
Fernandez - 4: Created an opportunity for Delap early; little impact in attack or defense for the rest of the match.
Palmer - 4: Dangerous free kick late for Enzo; was slow in possession throughout offering little else.
Delap - 5.5: Strong hold up play and dangerous runs in behind. Decent strike early was saved, but unable to create other opportunities.
Neto - 7: Great pressing and quality finish to open the scoring. Chelseaโs primary outlet using pace and skill to get in behind and into space.
SUBSTITUTES:
Jackson - 0: Was shown a straight red card three minutes after coming on.
Lavia - 5: Calm and secure in possession. Lost marker leading to a goal.
Madueke - N/A: Added directness and effort in attack, but the game was already gone.
Guiu- N/A

The Premier League have written to Chelsea to seek clarification over the clubโs position with ticket re-sellers - amid controversy over Todd Boehlyโs involvement in Vivid Seats.
Boehly is both a director and investor in Vivid, described as an โunauthorised ticket sellerโ by the league, and also owns a 13% stake in Chelsea.
The website lists Chelsea matches on its platform, with some tickets last season at Stamford Bridge going for as much as ยฃ20,000. It is not allowed to operate in the United Kingdom, although is permissible overseas.
Chelsea Supportersโ Trust asked the Premier League to โact and investigateโ the situation which they believe is both a โbreach of trust and โa clear conflict of interestโ in an open letter issued in March.
Premier League CEO Richard Masters has explained they are discussing the matter with Chelsea in a situation described as โongoingโ at a Football Supportersโ Association event last week.
The Supportersโ Trust has also submitted evidence against the American company to the governmentโs Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

๐ค ๐๐ง ๐ญ๐๐๐ฆ ๐ฌ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง:
โTomorrow, we will do some rotation because the ones who played two games are quite tired to play again.
โSo we will make rotation, and we will see if there is a chance for those who havenโt played as much.โ
๐ค ๐๐ง ๐ญ๐๐๐ฆ ๐ง๐๐ฐ๐ฌ:
โReece [James], the reason why [he didnโt train] is because he is ill. Levi Colwill has also been ill in the last two days, but today was better and part of the session.
โNico [Jackson] was not in the session this morning, as itโs the day before the game and we just used the ones who are available for the game.โ

โItโs almost impossible to train a full session because of the weather.
โWe are trying to save energy for the game; this morningโs session was very short, just plan for tomorrow, thatโs it. No more than that.
โItโs not easy with these temperatures, but we will give our best tomorrow to get to the next stage of the competition.โ

โKendry is with us. He asked to spend time with us and train. Weโll see what the plan is in the next few weeks.โ

โI watched both their games. They were in the match against Flamengo until the very end, and then they beat Los Angeles. It will be a tough game.โ

๐จChelsea and @ManchesterUnited are weighing up the possibility of trying to send Christopher Nkunku and Alejandro Garnacho in opposite directions this summer.
Christopher Nkunku and Alejandro Garnacho both want to quit their respective clubs and the prospect of them trading places has not been ruled out, although there is no expectation of a swap deal being negotiated.
Garnacho would be expected to jump at the chance to join Chelsea.
