STARTING XI:

Jorgensen – 8: Stepped up well when needed. Calm and composed on the ball with solid distribution throughout.

Acheampong – 8: Defensively sound and provided energy in Chelsea’s play going forward. His ball carrying was brilliant drawing several fouls.

Gusto – 6.5: Defended well but struggled when inverting into midfield. Produced a couple of good crosses.

Badiashile – 7: Reliable performance when called upon. Did his job without fuss.

Tosin – 8: Strong defensive display. Took his goal well - excellent header.

Lavia – 7: A steady performance. Kept things ticking and fulfilled his role well.

Enzo – 8.5: Two brilliant assists and a true captain’s performance. Controlled the midfield superbly and was influential going forward.

Madueke – 7: Looked sharp at times going forward but still needs to improve his end product.

Dewsbury-Hall – 6: Considering he played out of position, he put in a decent shift. Needs to be sharper with his final ball.

Delap [MOTM] – 9: Outstanding. Excellent hold-up play and linked up brilliantly with those around him. Took his goal superbly. Has the potential to become a key player for Chelsea.

SUBSTITUTES:

Guiu – 6: Quiet overall. Had a chance late on but couldn’t convert.

George – 7: Came on late and made his presence felt. Took his goal well.

Essugo & Santos - N/A:Both looked raw and they will need time adjusting to the system.

Sarr - N/A: Great to see him make his debut.
