Since June 17th, 2025, the annual base inflation of $CHZ has decreased from 8.80% to 7.20%. This change means the amount of new $CHZ entering circulation this year will be 10.89% lower compared to last year.

781,877,265 $CHZ to 696,715,193 $CHZ — new token supply decrease of 𝟏𝟎.𝟖𝟗%


Every year, Chiliz Chain’s inflation rate decreases.

Started at 8.80% on June 17th, 2024, and dropping annually until it hits 1.88% in year 14, whereafter it stays fixed. This model delivers strong early incentives and long-term sustainability for the Chiliz ecosystem.


Allocation of the inflation supply:

⚡️ 65% is for validators and delegators;
⚡️ 10% is for Community Vault, $CHZ Liquidity Pools & Shared Security Restaking Rewards (15% of the Community Vault is reserved to $PEPPER Inc. DAO)
⚡️ 25% is for Ecosystem and Operational Distribution

Next to the gradually decreasing annual inflation rate, the Chiliz Tokenomics 2.0 also include a Transaction Fee Burning Mechanism.

The Chiliz Chain implemented EIP-1559 wherein the vast majority of accrued gas fees are being burned at a protocol level. 🔥
