Presentation:

Palpable neck swelling/ mass usually in right side of neck

Causes:

Intrauterine Packaging Defects
Breech Delivery
Forceps injury
Shoulder Dystocia
Birth injury:


Treatment:

90-95% cases develop spontaneous resolution of swelling before 1 yr of age(Self Resolving)

Surgery:

SCM release after 1 year, if swelling persists

•Bipolar Release
