⏩Due to Overcontraction of Sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscle (Tight & Shortened SCM)

⏩Presentation:
⏹Palpable neck swelling/ mass usually in right side of neck
⏹Causes:
✅Intrauterine Packaging Defects
✅Breech Delivery
✅Forceps injury
✅Shoulder Dystocia
✅Birth injury:
⏩Treatment:
⏹90-95% cases develop spontaneous resolution of swelling before 1 yr of age(Self Resolving)
⏹Surgery:
✅SCM release after 1 year, if swelling persists
Either we do:
•Unipolar Release
•Bipolar Release
