On April 22, a total of nearly 99,700 Inscriptions were minted, a record high, of which text minted accounted for 78%. Near Foundation invested in Cosmose AI, lifting the company's valuation from $100 million to $500 million. Cosmose will also abandon the Stripe payment system in favor of Near.

Cosmose AI, a nine-year-old company that uses AI analytics to track in-store foot traffic and engage with shoppers online, is partnering with Near.

As part of the partnership, Near Foundation, the non-profit arm of Near supporting the protocol’s ecosystem development, has made a strategic investment in Cosmose. The round, of which amount is undisclosed, lifts the company’s valuation to $500 million.
