▶️ मूल बातें:

1⃣ कंप्यूटर शब्द अंग्रेजी के "Compute" से बना है, जिसका अर्थ है "गणना करना"।

2⃣ चार्ल्स बैबेज को कंप्यूटर का जनक माना जाता है, जिन्होंने 19वीं शताब्दी में एक यांत्रिक कंप्यूटर का आविष्कार किया था।

3⃣ पहले के कंप्यूटर आज के कंप्यूटरों से बहुत बड़े और कम शक्तिशाली थे। उदाहरण के लिए, दुनिया का पहला इलेक्ट्रॉनिक कंप्यूटर ENIAC, एक कमरे जितना बड़ा था और केवल साधारण गणितीय गणनाएं कर सकता था।

▶️ मनोरंजक तथ्य:

1⃣ दुनिया का पहला हार्ड डिस्क केवल 5 एमबी डेटा स्टोर कर सकता था। आज के हार्ड डिस्क हजारों से लेकर लाखों गीगाबाइट तक डेटा स्टोर कर सकते हैं।

2⃣ पहला कंप्यूटर माउस लकड़ी का बना था और पहिया के समान था।

3⃣ दुनिया भर में अब तक एक अरब से अधिक माउस बेचे जा चुके हैं।

4⃣ भारत का पहला कंप्यूटर 1956 में आया था और इसे हेक्टर नाम दिया गया था।

5⃣ इंटरनेट के विकास में योगदान देने वाले ARPANET का निर्माण करने वाली प्रयोगशाला में डगलस एंगेलबार्ट ने माउस का आविष्कार किया था।

6⃣ भारत में पहला स्वदेशी निर्मित कंप्यूटर TIFRAC (टाटा इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ फंडामेंटल रिसर्च ऑटोमैटिक कैलकुलेटर) था।

▶️ आश्चर्यजनक बातें:

1⃣ लैपटॉप में 1980 से पहले तक हार्ड डिस्क नहीं हुआ करती थी।

2⃣ लैपटॉप में टचपैड फीचर 1982 के बाद जोड़ा गया था।

3⃣ माउस के आविष्कार के 20 साल बाद 1999 में पहली बार लैपटॉप में वाई-फाई का इस्तेमाल किया गया।

4⃣ 1981 में जारी किया गया Osborne Laptop लगभग 10 किलो वजन का हुआ करता था, जो आज के लैपटॉप से लगभग 10 गुना ज्यादा है।

1⃣ भारत में कंप्यूटर को "अभिकलित्र", "अभिकलक" या "संगणक" भी कहा जाता है।

3⃣ आज दुनिया में सबसे ज्यादा कंप्यूटर वाला देश संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका है, जबकि भारत 19वें स्थान पर है।
