Liverpool FC and Portugal forward Diogo Jota has sadly passed away at the age of 28, the Portuguese Football Federation have confirmed.

His brother André Silva, 26 who played for Portuguese Liga 2 side, Penafiel, has also passed away.

Our thoughts are with their friends, family and colleagues at this time.
