Kindiki: I am shocked to see some politicians celebrating the destruction, rape, and lawlessness we all witnessed on Wednesday. How can someone who seeks to lead this country or has held leadership positions in the past celebrate such anarchy?
DP Kindiki: We are ready and prepared to lose some political popularity in order to save our country. The safety and security of our nation are paramount and non-negotiable. We must choose whether to be governed by the rule of law or by the rule of gangs and criminal groups.
DP Kindiki: There is a difference between democracy and anarchy. You cannot use arson, violence, rape and destruction of public and private property in the guise of pursuit of democratic rights.
