Silencershop, B&T USA, and a couple other big silencer/gun brands are suing the Govt to render NFA unconstitutional under the argument that the NFA was only legal/constitutional when it was disguised as a "stamp tax," as a registry would be quite clearly unconstitutional (which was established by Supreme Court Precedent USA vs Constantine, 1935) and therefore, since the stamp tax is now $0, making it effectively non-existent, then the entire NFA is now null and void, since the only thing making it constitutional was the fact that it was a "tax" not a gun restriction/registry. Basically you were legally allowed to own suppressors, sbrs, sbs', destructive devices, etc, BUT you had to pay the tax, and now that said tax is gone then theres no legal right for the govt to regulate these things. Anyway, interesting argument and rather promising, Im no lawyer but it seems very sound, however Im not deluded enough to think that the justice or law actually mean anything in this country and they can easily find a way to just... force the outcome they want anyway, so Im not holding my breath.

(Btw its funny how the NRA is both conspicuously absent from this lawsuit and silent on the matter, despite having more money than any of the plaintiffs combined. Guess those boomer faggots arent as interested in gun rights as theyre interested in preserving the insane artificial value of their transferable machine guns. If the NFA vanished and MG's were legalized again, suddenly, those faggots' $50,000 full auto AR15s would suddenly be worth like $450 cause a worn out fucked up old 1970s Colt isnt really all that special except for the magic legal 3rd hole.
