When I was a child I almost choked to death. I don’t remember most of my early childhood but I remember that experience vividly. My parents did not know the right thing to do and got lucky pulling the instruction out of my mouth where the Heimlich would have been much more likely to work and more effective.
As a general rule I don’t like my children to have lollipop type hard candy. (They look to me like they’re specifically designed to obstruct an airway) and they take so long to eat that kids tend to run around with them.
You can however choke on anything and I’ve tried to do my best to pass on as much of this information as I can to my own children.
Show this video to your kids, choking is one of those things that no one takes seriously until they experience it themselves or witness someone else. When it finally happens it is absolutely terrifying specially if no one around knows what they’re actually supposed to do.

FARA filings reveal how Israel quietly embeds itself in the U.S. media ecosystem through layers of contractors.
One little-known firm, Targeted Communications Global LLC, plays a crucial role as a subcontractor shaping American news coverage and ad campaigns on behalf of Israel’s Foreign Ministry and Tourism Ministry.
In March 2025, Targeted Communications registered under FARA as working under direction and control of the Israeli MFA, but receiving payment via SKDK (SKDKnickerbocker) — a powerhouse U.S. PR firm. Their task: coordinated outreach to Fox, CNN, NBC, ABC, Newsmax and dozens of journalists to amplify Israel’s messaging across U.S. media.
By August 2025, they added a new contract with Israel’s Ministry of Tourism (LAPAM), this time subcontracted through Havas Media Group USA. Their role: “communications and media relations” for a multimillion-dollar Israeli ad campaign targeting Americans...
The result: foreign state messaging becomes indistinguishable from domestic discourse.
