always remember, you can do something for the state of the world by changing the whole attitude of your heart, mind, and spirit. When you realize this, take responsibility, and do something about it, changes will occur, initially small, but then increasingly more, until everything is affected. Just consider how wonderful, how encouraging it is to know you can do something to improve the state of the world by changing yourself inwardly and then passing those changes outward. Blessed are those who are willing and open, who recognize the need for change and do something about it; for they are like the yeast in the lump of dough, thanks to which the bread rises. Without the yeast, the bread would not rise. Without change, everything would stagnate, stand still, and die. So change yourself and grow in true joy and gratitude, and be thankful because you can do this; do it right now

8 Rules for a Healthy Life;

More than 2500 years ago, a science about how to live long and well originated in China. This teaching is called Yang Sheng.

1. Eat pure and light foods

If you don't want to feel sluggish and down, pay attention to the food that enters your body. There are two terms: Qing Dan foods and Wei foods.

Qing Dan means „clear and light." These are foods that are easy to digest: little salt, little fat, little sugar, no alcohol, not spicy.

Wei foods, on the other hand, are heavy and should only be eaten in small amounts.

The problem with modern nutrition: too many heavy Wei products, too few light Qing Dan foods.

2. Rest and get up early

Modern technology has distanced people from natural day and night rhythms. TV or smartphones keep us awake at night. The brain remains excited, sleep becomes restless, and getting up in the morning is difficult.

According to Chinese medicine, the liver regenerates between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. and cleanses the blood. Those who do not sleep during this time weaken the body's detoxification ability. Therefore: go to bed by 11 p.m. at the latest!

3. Stick to a rhythm

Humans thrive on rhythm. Our well-being increases when eating, sleeping, and activity harmonize with nature's cycles.

Circadian rhythms are our internal clocks. Hormones like cortisol and melatonin follow these. In modern people, cortisol—the "stress hormone"—is often chronically elevated because our lifestyle is out of balance.

Solution: Follow natural rhythms. Nature shows us when activity, rest, food, and recovery are appropriate.

4. Ignite your digestive fire

The spleen loves warmth—this is how Chinese medicine explains it. It "cooks" the food and distributes nutrients throughout the body. Like a fire that warms food, the stomach is a pot on the flame.

Cold food weakens this fire: ice water, raw foods, cucumbers, etc. Therefore: warm foods are your mantra.

5. Breathing exercises

Shallow breathing is normal in the modern world—but it weakens us. In traditional cultures, breath is considered the gateway to life force.

Conscious, deep breathing brings clarity and energy. In Chinese medicine, the lungs play a central role in energy production. Deep breathing fills energy reserves; shallow breathing makes you tired and depressed.

Tip: Slowing your breath makes it harder for the body to produce stress hormones. So: pause, breathe deeply.

6. Movement is crucial

Humans are not made for a sedentary lifestyle. Yet today, our movements mostly consist of sitting, standing, walking, lying down.

In the past, there were hundreds of movement patterns. As a balance, Tai Chi, Qigong, or Yoga are suitable. These gentle forms of movement are a key to longevity and health.

7. Get close to nature

The Chinese teaching of the Five Elements (Wu Xing)—Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood—describes fundamental forces that act in everything. Every person has a constitution that corresponds more strongly to one element and shapes their strengths, weaknesses, tendencies, and susceptibility to illness.

Example: Those corresponding to the Wood element are often determined, assertive, muscular—but tend to frustration or anger. Their liver and eyes are more sensitive.

We are part of nature, and nature is part of us. There is no separation.

8. Preventive acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient method to keep the body in balance and prevent diseases—long before they become visible on the physical level.

Yang Sheng means: living in harmony with nature, rhythm, and consciousness—and thereby leading a long, healthy, and fulfilling life.
