🔘Go is used for changes in people's personality, appearance and physical abilities:

🔘Go is often used for sudden, usually negative, changes:

🔘Go can also be used for slower colour changes:
~The pages of the book had gone yellow over the years.

📌Turn, not get
▫️Turn often collocates with colours:
~When the tomatoes turn red, the farmers pick them and sell them.
~The news gave his mother such a shock that her hair turned white overnight.

⏺Get and become
🔘Get and become can often be used with the same collocations, but become is more formal and is therefore more appropriate in essays:
~She gave up smoking when she became pregnant.
~I would like to become involved in raising money for charity.
▪️The same is true for collocations with adjectives such as angry, bored, excited, depressed upset, impatient, violent:
~He became depressed after his wife's death.

🔹Become, not get, is used with the following: extinct, (unpopular, homeless, famous. ~Our local baker's has become famous for its apple tarts.

این ساختار برای بیان تشابه یا ارتباط بین دو اتفاق یا عمل استفاده میشه. یعنی یک عمل یا اتفاق توسط یک مورد دیگه رخ میده یا تحت تأثیر اون قرار میگیره. .

مثال:

1️⃣ Just as the sun sets, so does our energy level decrease.
همان‌طور که خورشید غروب ‌می‌کند، انرژی ما هم کاهش می‌یابد.

2️⃣ Just as exercise benefits our physical health, so does reading benefit our mental health.
همان‌طور که ورزش به سلامت جسمی ما کمک می‌کند، مطالعه به سلامت ذهنی ما کمک می‌کند.

3️⃣ Just as a good night's sleep helps us perform better, so does a healthy breakfast.
همان‌طور که خواب شب مناسب به ما کمک می‌کند عملکرد بهتری داشته باشیم، صبحانه سالم هم به ما کمک میکند عملکرد بهتری داشته باشیم (😐)

❇️ اگر مقصد را به شکل یک نقطه (یا مکان) در نظر بگیرید، باید از حرف اضافه at استفاده کنید .

❇️اگر مقصد را به شکل یک ناحیه ببینید، باید از حرف اضافه in استفاده کنید.

✅- اگر مقصد یک شهر کوچک، یک ساختمان و یا بخشی از یک ساختمان است، از حرف اضافه at استفاده کنید. مثلاً:

1️⃣چه زمانی به اداره پست می رسی.

1️⃣When do you arrive at the post office.

2️⃣I had already gone before he arrived at the station.

✅اگر مقصد یک شهر بزرگ، کشور، قاره یا هر جای بزرگ تری هست، ازحرف اضافه in استفاده کنید. مثلاً:

3️⃣من ساعت ۵ به تهران خواهم رسید.

3️⃣I will arrive in Tehran at five.


نکته:این سوال مطرح می شود که آیا arrive to اشتباه است؟ خوب، پاسخ هم بله هست و هم نه! اگر بعد از arrive to یک مکان بکار ببرید اشتباه است. یعنی arrive to a place نداریم! اما بعد از arrive to می توانید یک فعل استفاده کنید. یعنی مثلاً arrive to eat کاملا درست است.

An Instadad is a man who marries a person with one or more kids. The man is also commonly referred to as a stepdad.

An instadad often does not have any kids of his own before he weds his bride. But after the marriage he instantly becomes a dad by inheriting whatever churrin belong to his SO. Of course, some instadads already have kids before inheriting more children, like Mike Brady from "The Brady Bunch," a popular example of an instadad. He became a dad to Carol's three daughters when he married her.
