كلمة cure تعني يعالج - يشفي (للأمراض) اما كلمة heal تعني يلتئم (للجروح)

كلمة tired تعني متعب عضلياً وكلمة exhausted متعب - مجهد ذهنياً.

كلمة Weather وكلمة climate تعني الطقس .. الفرق بينهما ان كلمة weather تعني حالة الجو لفترة محدوده ، وكلمة climate تعني حال الجو على مدار السنه .. وتترجم الى المناخ ..

كلمة few وكلمة little لها نفس المعنى (قليل) ولكن few تاتي مع الاسم المعدود وlittle تاتي مع الاسم الغير معدود

الكثير لايفرق بين كلمة listen وكلمة hear ويظن معناها واحد ولكن الحقيقة أن كلمة listen يستمع او ينصت وفيها قصد وتركيز في السمع ،اما كلمة hear فتأتي بمعنى يسمع بدون قصد من الشخص لكن الصوت هو اللذي وصل إلى أذنية .
