Artistic Vibes will be introducing an underground artist every month on the latest editions of ከTsenat magazine. This time we have one of the most promising young photographers in the Ethiopian photography landscape, Samson Sileshi, share his story & insights with us.

Samson is a freelance photographer based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He is one of the founding members of the 'Ketch' movement and also the current photography ambassador for Castel beer Ethiopia. Samson has also been involved in different activities like volunteering and participating in different workshops such as "Project Luwi", "Center for photography in Ethiopa", and "Addis foto fest".

The sixth edition of the Addis Foto Fest open call is now accepting submissions!

We invite photographers, curators, and photography collectives to submit projects that could be exhibited during the next edition of the Addis Foto fest, which will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on December 3-7, 2020. Addis Foto Fest is a biennial international photography festival, which has previously featured exhibitions, portfolio reviews, workshops, conference and an award ceremony. It is also the first and only international photography festival in East Africa. The Addis Foto Fest has been recognized as one of the biggest and leading photography festival in Africa.
