Regarding Pixel devices, we've solved an issue where signal/telephony crashes within the system on Android 14. The issue has been resolved and you can expect our supported Pixel devices to finally receive their A14 updates soon. Big thanks to the help of our co-founder, @Anierin_Bliss. Without him, we wouldn't be able to pinpoint the exact issue.
For now, we're working to re-include Pixel exclusive stuff such as Quick Tap and Extreme Battery saver, along with Face Unlock.

In relation to this, Pixel 6 series Android 14 releases of Evo are now rolling out. Other Pixel series will definitely follow suit. Big thanks to our Co-founder @Anierin_Bliss for his work.

Since google likes wrecking things, for a temporary fix, you may need to install our favorite module. https://github.com/chiteroman/PlayIntegrityFix/releases

We'll be fully switching to Evo X Launcher due to issues with QuickSwitch implementation and 3rd party launchers, as well as issues with making Evo X Launcher work properly with Google Wallpapers app. Apologies for the inconveniences.

For clarification, Evo X POCO F5 (marble) update will be limited to @EvolutionXMarble and our XDA thread alone. We are no longer affiliated with the official F5 group and our updates will no longer be posted there.

Due to google constantly blocking some Play integrity fixes (PIF's), we have updated our built-in spoof to support reading the values from an external package with randomization (if configured).
This will allow us to push updated resource apks instead of new builds for our unrooted users to pass CTS/Play integrity API.

PPU: Make spoofBuildGms updatable and chosen from a list Β· Evolution-X/frameworks_base@f2bbffa
This approach has a couple advantages:
- Randomizing the device could potentially help mitigate spoofs from being blocked as we will spread the API
requests across multiple devices rather than one...

Yes, Google broke the latest FP (Asus) to pass play integrity once again. The more urgent we need to push builds with the new implementation and update the APK with new fingerprints.
For builds that have the PifResources apk, you'll only need to install an updated APK built by our team.

Android 14 QPR1 is currently being merged into Evo X. A lot of changes so a framework rebase will be made.
π135
We'll be switching to Pixel Launcher and Google Wallpapers temporarily for the QPR1 releases. We are in the process of finalizing the rebase for our framework and hope to finish before the weekend.

December 2023 security patches have also been merged into our Android 13 default branch for those stuck with that :)

There will be re-releases of our December patch updates for devices such as Marble and Raphael due to issues with Island notifications (specifically the now playing feature) and Package installer crashes. We'll improve the source code tonight so that subsequent releases will not have these issues.

For Android 14 and beyond, future builds will stick to Pixel Launcher and Google Wallpapers prebuilt.
As much as we love providing customizable stuff, stability is the main focus as well as Pixel exclusives. Since AI wallpapers and Emoji walls are pretty much broken using AOSP ThemePicker, as well the Quarterly platform releases (QPR) requiring a extensive rebase to Launcher3 each time, we would rather stick to Google's prebuilt apps that are stable and usually updated with each Pixel dump.

In Android 14 QPR2 Beta 2, I've enabled this flag, which lets you move the At a Glance widget around on screen and even rearrange it if you want!
Sadly, even with this flag enabled, you still cannot add the At a Glance widget to third-party launchers like Nova Launcher. This is because At a Glance isn't actually a widget under-the-hood, it's a "custom element behaving like a widget." (Thanks to Kieron Quinn for digging into this.)

Seems Google has killed the Mi 4i fingerprint spoof (for Play API) as well. We'll be finding a replacement and posting an updated Pif APK.
