To put it simply, the extent to which it is "ok" to not be unhappy (to put it kindly) with an overtly political figure's murder is based on the extent to which they advocated violence/aggression against you. Obviously you are not obligated to care very much about someone who openly stated they are glad when someone like you dies or whatever and then they get killed in turn. I say this, because Charlie Kirk was perhaps one of the most peaceful conservative commentators, willing to debate, make overtures, etc. that you could find. I.e. any freak celebrating it should be arrested for being a dangerous individual, there is frankly no justification for being happy hes dead.

Evil cannot help but show its true face.

Those who know me also know I'm very much not one to preach unconditional "unity" between Christians - unless it's unity under one Church, as God commanded.

However, this image is pretty much true. They hate you not because you're Catholic, Orthodox, Coptic, Protestant. They hate you because you profess faith in Christ.

And they will laugh as you breathe your final breath for Him, regardless of where you were baptized.

In times like these, to say "at least this didn't happen to MY church brethren" is being with Babylon as long as she doesn't touch your own.

But she will. And you know it.

And this is not about holding hands and happily dancing into the sunset together.

We have our differences to a point where this is factually impossible. Has been for centuries, millennia even.

But those aren't Christians out there wanting us dead.

I know many of you might even justify how the other side of the fence barely even qualifies as Christian. We've been doing this for ages, and I truly understand it.

But one side is dying for Christ. The other is killing them because they profess faith in Him.

And I, for one, don't need anything more elaborate than that at this point.

This is why I can think of no greater insult than to be associated with conservatives.
