The world is coming to an end, anytime soon, and ICT will strongly be involved in the process, according to Bible prophecies. ICT will change people, permanently, and it is not a coincidence. The Devil is behind it, and God will be after him to punish the vice, which will lead to the end of the world.

A few years ago, it was unimaginable that the Revelation 13:16-17, concerning the deployment of the mark of the beast, 666, would ever be fulfilled. It’s already happening – electronic objects are being inserted into people’s hands and heads, for smarter ways of carrying out normal operations.

Sometimes we fear the mark of the beast, 666, without really understanding the dangers that are associated with it, and why the Devil is obsessed with it. The danger is more in its objective than in the mark itself.

However, ICT is not a bad idea per se. ICT is a very good development to the society. It has brought a lot more benefits.

Principles For Writing Good Code
According to MIT Professor Robert Miller, when writing good software using modern software engineering techniques, your code should be:

Safe from bugs
Easy to understand
Ready for change
Bugs are coding errors in software or an app.

Safe from bugs
Safe from bugs does not mean that the code is entirely error free, but rather that we are able to design it such that we reduce the likelihood of bugs and that we can identify bugs where they arise.

Some really important practices include testing, knowing the edge cases and type handling of the language you are using and code reviews or pair programming. In other words, know the code, test the code, and involve others with the code.

Easy to understand
The idea of easy to understand includes both for other software engineers who might work with the same code base as well as for your future self.

It is not possible to always remember the details of why you implemented or wrote code in a certain way or what precisely for, which is why documentation and specification is so important.

Ready for change
Finally, ready for change means designed to accommodate change without rewriting. Software changes, hardware changes, os updates, language versioning. There might be changes made to other parts of the software or code base. Thus, the code for a particular unit, module or component of the software must be written to be robust enough.

"Good software developers write comments in their code, and do it judiciously. Good comments should make the code easier to understand, safer from bugs (because important assumptions have been documented), and ready for change."

በዚህም 1 GB የኢንተርኔት እና 303 ፍሌክሲ ነፃ ስጦታ ለደንበኞቹ አቅርቧል።
