ተፈሪ አሰፋ የኢትዮጵይ ሙዚቃ ካለበት ደረጃ ከፍ ለማድረግ የያዘውን ሞያ በውጭ ሃገር ተምሮ እና በሚገባ አጠናቆ ወደ ሃገሩ ኢትዮጵያ በመመለስ የድራም አጨዋወት ሞያ በሃገራችን በብዙ ሰው እንዲወደድ ያደረገ ታታሪ የሙዚቃ ሰው ነበር።
