I frequently talk to people who rail on Walmart, Kroger, and other similar grocery stores. Many of those same people also talk about the parallel economy and how we have to exit this merry-go-round of food... yet surprisingly few of them actually buy from local farmers who are racing food in different and better ways. I was talking with one of our customers this morning at a Saturday drop off about how it's easy to complain about the system but it takes commitment to exit the food system. We are so grateful to our customers who take the time to meet us and purchase premium food from farmers they can meet in person, know their practices, and support local regenerative farms.

Here’s the little foray into human nature I just had. First, I watched this video, posted on the FJR chat. Video above. (I had no intention of posting it until it made my point for me.)
Then, I scrolled to a chat I follow on here that’s owned by a woman who really still likes Trump. This doesn’t bother me. I like her. I like a lot of how she thinks. Hmmm. It probably touched a nerve, but seeds are still good to plant.
And if the sweetheart I’m referring to is reading this, no hard feelings. I totally dig you. We just simply will not see eye to eye when it comes to Mr. T. and his economic hunger games. Or his leading us straight into digital prison, or his sending billions of American dollars to wipe an entire people off the face of the planet.
